Now that we have almost a month under our belts, things are running smoothly on the 7th grade hallway. Curriculum Night had a terrific turnout; thank you, parents and relatives, for filling our classrooms with your interest- we do appreciate you taking the time to meet us and listen to what we have planned for your child(ren) this year (it's kind of rare that people willingly come to our rooms to listen to us... :-)
One way for you to make plans for each week is to check the different calendars we have posted on the NMS webpage. We are positively a fount of information- if you take 5 minutes to surf!
The overall school calendar of all events with Orchestra, Chorus, Band, Athletics, Drama, PTSA meetings, clubs- you name it- is on the bottom, right corner of the homepage:

This next calendar link shows when the tests and quizzes are for each grade level, by course title. We post one week in advance, so you have time to make plans for the future!
If your child is in 7th grade, but takes any 8th grade level classes, then you should click on the 8th grade calendar and look for the class title/subject name (i.e., Math, ELA, Science, etc.) to see when the next quiz or test is for that 8th grade subject. If your child takes a seventh grade level class, then you would only need click on the 7th grade level calendar and find the course name. Please make sure to click on the individual entry to display the entries' full title- "On level" or "Advanced" classes may give quizzes/tests on different days!

If you have a question about one of your child's specific courses, then email your child's particular subject area teacher for answers.
Questions about 7th grade field trip dates or t-shirt orders, should be directed to the homeroom teacher.
